Eileen Murray - President and Treasurer

Ms. Murray is a volunteer member of the Board of Directors as well as the President and Treasurer.  She is an accounting professional with 18 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, payroll, tax reporting and intercompany transactions.  She has worked for various organizations including a nonprofit trade association, an Employee Benefit Trust, a fireplace wholesaler, retailer and installer and a hospitality company.  Her expertise includes preparing various tax returns including payroll, sales & use, excise and income tax, presenting to the Board of Directors and private auditing firms, preparing payroll for more than 200 employees, financial reporting for more than 10 subsidiaries of her former organization and for 5 hotels in her current position and assisting management with integration after an acquisition.  She holds a BA in Accounting, summa cum laude, from St. Xavier University and is currently pursuing Certification with the IRS in their Enrolled Agent Program.

Eleanor Rochowicz - Secretary

Ms. Rochowicz is a volunteer member of the Board of Directors as well as the Secretary.  She is an educator with over 23 years of experience in a public elementary school.  Her expertise includes teaching early childhood and elementary students in a regular education setting, teaching special education students with IEP’s in a mainstream setting, and providing intervention services for Tier III students.  Ms. Rochowicz has been actively involved in her Church serving on the Parish Council Board and assisting at community-based functions.  She has served on various committees in efforts to raise money for charities and families in need, as well as participating in the fundraising and “walking for a cure” for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer Foundation for the past 7 years.  She holds a BS in Child Development with an Early Childhood Certificate with the State of Illinois from Northern Illinois University and a MA in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University.

Alex R. McCrae - Vice President

Mr. McCrae is a volunteer member of the Board of Directors as well as the Vice President.  He is a veteran of the United States Army where he served as a Communications Specialist in West Germany and was honorably discharged as Specialist Fourth Class.  After the Army, he worked for the Chicago Police Department for almost 30 years serving as a Police Officer, a Detective, a Sergeant and finally as a Lieutenant before retiring from the force.  He was appointed Manager of Fleet Services and later appointed as Manager of Training, Chicago Office of Emergency Communications for the City of Chicago.  For over 20 years, he has been a Partner/Owner of a corporation, which owns and manages a vacation property in Indiana.  Mr. McCrae has served on numerous committees to organize benefits for the families of Chicago Police Officers killed or injured in the line of duty and has served as a volunteer for the Brachial Plexus Support Group of Chicago, actively involved in fundraising efforts.  He graduated with high honors from Lewis University with a BA in Criminal Justice/Public Administration.

Diane M. McCrae - Assistant Secretary

Mrs. McCrae is a volunteer member of the Board of Directors as well as the Assistant Secretary.  She is a retired registered nurse with over 35 years of experience.  She obtained her nursing degree from Michael Reese Hospital in 1964 and went on to work there as an RN in the capacity of a floor nurse and eventually head nurse.  Over the course of the next 25 years she continued working in home health care holding various nursing and supervisory positions.  She ended her career with Palos Hospital Home Health Care where she served as the Clinical Manager overseeing the entire nursing staff.  Mrs. McCrae has served as a volunteer for the Brachial Plexus Support Group of Chicago and has volunteered for the Beverly Breast Cancer Walk.
